The Family Pattern Success

I finally managed to get the Johnstone tartan and the Campbell tartan onto an Excel spreadsheet for a pattern to knit. I admit that it was frustrating and I did want to leave the project alone but I finally got it finished on Thursday.

 This is my chart for the Campbell tartan. It looks funny with the colors I used but I know what the colors on my chart stand for.

I hope to make an afghan or two or three (one of each and then one with both) but I'll be keeping it simple and knit the squares individually and sew it all together in the end.
